Module 1: Civics Crash Course    

Demystifying the Voting Process, Roles of Elected Officials, and Civic Impact

In the first Module, we will dive into the fundamentals of civics. Building on the knowledge gained in the previous Modules, the third installment introduces students to the democratic process through Mock Elections. Participants will actively engage in the electoral process by nominating candidates, creating campaign materials, and casting simulated votes. This Module aims to introduce and reveal the voting booth, instill confidence in participating in real elections, and foster a sense of responsibility for shaping their community's future.

Module 4: Reflection and Action Plan     

Reflecting on Learnings and Creating Personal Action Plans for Civic Engagement

The final Module serves as a reflective moment for students to discuss key takeaways from the workshop series. Participants will create personal action plans outlining specific steps they can take to be more civically engaged in their communities. Guest speakers, including local community leader and elected official, will share insights on the importance of youth engagement and inspire the students to take an active role in shaping their civic futures.
